My Story
Growing up in Kentucky, I developed a love for creativity and craftsmanship from an early age, spending hours watching my family work with their hands - whether in woodworking, crafting, or DIY projects. This foundation inspired me to pursue design, leading to years of experience across interior design, remodeling, and custom home building. Now, as the founder of Pressed Home, I’m passionate about bringing that same craftsmanship and personal connection to each project, making sure every detail has purpose and every space feels meaningful.
I’m a firm believer in the power of problem-solving and thinking outside the box. When I work with clients, I approach each project with an open mind, always looking for innovative ways to create a home that feels distinctly theirs.
Outside of work, I’m a mom, wife, and advocate for my community. I love spending time with my family, exploring new places, and giving back through Grounded Soul, a nonprofit I founded to support women experiencing postpartum and perinatal mental health challenges. Supporting the community is at the heart of Pressed Home, and I’m proud to incorporate this mission into my business.
My Philosophy
For me, design is about how a space works, feels, and reflects the people who live in it. My philosophy is built around three pillars:
Purpose
Every choice I make in design is rooted in creating a space that serves a purpose for your lifestyle.
Process
I believe in keeping things seamless, transparent, and collaborative, so you’re involved and comfortable every step of the way.
Creativity
Each project is an opportunity to bring something new to life, and I love incorporating unique elements that make your home one of a kind.
My favorite part of every project is getting to know my clients and creating a space that exceeds their expectations. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone’s reaction when they walk into a room and see their vision fully realized. I believe that the best designs come from collaboration, trust, and a commitment to quality - and I bring these values to every project.
